23rd Street Prancer's Porter
23rd Street Brewery • Lawrence, KS
Built on a foundation of Kansas-grown English-style pale malt with the addition of caramel, chocolate, roasted barley, and Carafa II. Classic American hops—Cascade and Centennial—lend subtle citrus and pine accents that lighten the edges of the roast. Fermented using a traditional English yeast strain to accent the malt character. Expect aromas of cocoa and roasted grain with a flicker of citrus; flavors of chocolate, caramel, and smooth roast; and a crisp, satisfying finish true to American Porter tradition.
