Anadolu Efes Brewery Efes Pilsner
Anadolu Efes Brewery • Turkey
First brewed in 1969, named after the ancient port of Ephesus. Bottom fermented and brewed from malted barley and rice with Hallertau hops. Appearance: Clear, golden yellow with a thin head which quickly subsides. Aroma: Reminiscent of crackers used to serve cheese on with sweet-corn and sight grassy aromas. Taste: Somewhat bland Euro-lager with crusty white bread, weak floral hops and slight metallic flavours. Aftertaste: Mild and refreshing light finish with lingering hop notes.
