Imperial Stout aged in Heaven Hill Barrels for 18 months conditioned it on Black Currant, Cinnamon, Vanilla and Star Anise. It's like a brownie merged with a cabernet and took a bath in raspberry compote. Beautiful aromas of tart currant and licorice-y star anise hit you before the first delicate sip occurs. Flavors of bright jamminess, subtle bourbon barrel, and vanilla swirl together before a final kiss of cinnamon and anise linger on the back end.
