Unrelated to the better known Lion lager from South Africa. Main product of Lion Brewery. Appearance: Clear, mid golden amber with medium-large white head. Aroma: Toasted cereal with grassy vegetal aromas. Taste: Medium bodied with toasted corn and bitter stewed spinach-like vegetal hop notes. Aftertaste: Mild, lingering vegetal bitterness. More flavoursome than many lagers but lacks crispness, somewhat flabby.
